Mental Health Estrie: Here for you at a distance!
those coping tools that have been effective for you in the past is important. Additionally, you might explore new ones: grounding and breathing exercises, meditating, listening to audiobooks, dancing, singing, drawing, talking to a mental health professional, or exercising. Here is one breathing technique to help with anxiety: Using a pen or stick, imagine that one end is a flower. Bring it to your nose and “breathe in the smell of the flower.” Then, imagine that the other end is a candle, bring it to your mouth and “blow it out.”
If you are experiencing unpleasant emotions or anxiety, please reach out for support. Call a friend , a relative, or a professional. Strength lies in community and connectedness, we are together at a distance.
“You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem and smarter than you think.” – Christopher Robin
