Pets of the Week: Lilly and Theo

-

Hello from Lilly! (I am the one sitting down.) I am a 10-yearold lady and may I introduce my son (well, one of my sons…there have been many ‘children’ in my life) Theo, who is 6 years old. We are good with other dogs, but no cats please. Each of us also has learned to bark quite a bit, so ‘apartment living’ is out of the question for either of us! Apart from that, we are sweet, lovely and affectionate angels!

As stated last week, the SPCA Montérégie is SLOWLY opening up again for adoptions but the procedure has changed and there are many guidelines and necessary rules to follow. First of all, IT IS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. DO NOT TURN UP AT THE SHELTER - YOU WILL BE TURNED AWAY.

So here is how to proceed: If you are interested in either of us or any dog you see on the website or Facebook page, send an e-mail to adoption@ spcamonteregie.com

and put in the subject: NAME (of animal) AC/AD. (The AC/AD is a vital code for sending your e-mail to the correct person.)

Include your name, address, telephone number(s), house or apartment, fenced in back yard, availability of walks, how many persons in the house (adults, adolescents, children - ages), number of hours the dog will remain alone, had a dog(s) before, large or small, who are the other animals in the house, etc. - whatever else you wish to add.

Only selected applications will be contacted by telephone and be given an appointment.

This system is absolutely necessary for the health and safety of everyone. Thank you for understanding.

Stay safe. Stay well. Be careful.
