“Steeple Concert Series” comes to a close as in-person gatherings recommence

-

With the gradual reopening of public gatherings Hope Community Church, located in downtown Lennoxville, has concluded a three-month run of playing a variety of songs from their steeple every Sunday afternoon at 1p.m.

The original intent of the music from the steeple was to give local residents an opportunity to enjoy music, fresh air and wave to their friends, all during a time when people were largely confined indoors. As COVID-19 restrictions have lifted, local Lennoxville residents have increased freedom to meet together both in homes and in public locations.

The leadership team at Hope Community Church has implemented a strategy to return to in- person meetings which began on July 5, and that continues to protect congregants and public health. In addition to carefully enforcing two-metre social distancing guidelines and limiting attendance to 50 people in the auditorium and basement hall, HCC pastors are inviting attendees to wear masks during the church services.

The church has temporarily removed over half their seating leaving two metres between small rows of seats, ensuring that individuals and families will be appropriately distanced from each other. To limit the number of guests to 50, HCC is requiring that those who wish to attend a service, reserve their place. This can be done online at https://hcclennoxville.ca/reserve-myplace. Hope Community Church will also continue to livestream their services on their Youtube channel. https:// youtube.com/c/hcclennoxville.
