Brome-missisquoi Pact call for projects
Funding available for investments in community building projects
Non-profit organizations, cooperatives, health, social services and education networks and local municipalities are invited to submit applications for the Brome Missisquoi MRC’S 18th Brome Missisquoi Pact call for projects.
An amount of $ 286,495 is available for investments in various community building projects. Over the years, nearly $ 6 million has been invested in cultural, community, economic, tourism, recreational, agricultural and other projects.
The Pact is an important lever for projects that contribute to the development of Brome-missisquoi and is a source of funding for projects that do not have access to other government subsidies.
Organizations and municipalities wishing to apply can download the form and the promoter’s guide from the MRC website at www.mrcbm.qc.ca.
There will an information session held by Zoom on Tuesday, Oct. 13 at 2 p.m. The Zoom link is available in the promoter’s guide. Please note that this information session will be held primarily in French but that information can be given in English if needed.
Because of the pandemic, certain adjustments have been made to the fund. Exceptionally for this project call, non-profit organisations and non-profit cooperatives can receive funding to cover up to 75 per cent of admissible project costs.
The call for projects will be open until Jan. 15, 2021. Applicants are urged to contact Tania Szymanski, Coordinator for the development of communities and fund manager, to share their project. She can be reached at 450 266-4900 ext. 281 or tszymanski@mrcbm.qc.ca.
