Oktoberfest 2020, a drive-thru formula!
The Brome-missisquoi-perkins Hospital Foundation is very pleased to announce the 5th edition of the Oktoberfest BMP. This year, in order to respect health restrictions, we have redesigned the event and are proud to present the Oktoberfest 2020, Drive-thru Formula!
“It was important for us to maintain the Oktoberfest because it is a festive event that is eagerly awaited by the participants. Especially in these tough times, people need an opportunity to celebrate safely. We hope that the community will respond to this new edition and that it will be a success! “says Francis Laramée, Director of Operations of the BMP Foundation.
To participate, we invite people to reserve their meal on our website and pick it up at one of our drop-off locations on Saturday, October 17, 2020. All that will be left is to feast in the comfort of their homes with friends and family (while respecting the 10-person limit and social distancing).
On the menu, the Oktoberfest classic: Sauerkraut topped with sausages and pork chops prepared by Marcel Picard, owner of “Saucisson Vaudois”, potato salad offered by “Axep Marché Gendreault”, pretzels and apple desserts. An Oktoberfest wouldn’t be complete without beer, so participants will also receive an Oktoberfest BMP growler that people can fill at the Edgar Hyperlodge with Garde-malade beer from Les Brasseurs de West Shefford. A unique growler produced especially for this 2020 edition.
Tickets are on sale now for $140 for a 4 people all-inclusive meal. A tax receipt will be issued for a portion of the cost after the event. It’s a rendezvous on Saturday, October 17, 2020, all together and at a distance!
Virtual Auction
In parallel with the meal, an online auction will be unveiled a week before the event. Everyone will be able to participate and the auction will close on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at noon. As this will be our only auction this year due to the cancellation of all our other events, we have gathered a maximum number of items to make it an exceptional auction.
BMP Hospital Clinic Redevelopment Project
As in previous years, the funds raised will be used to finance equipment and projects dedicated exclusively to the BMP Hospital. The success of previous editions of the event has resulted in the complete redevelopment of the BMP Hospital Orthopedic Clinic. The clinic was inaugurated in March of
