Update on the Christmas Angels project

-

In a year filled with so many unexpected changes, traditions, especially at the holiday season, are a comfort to us all.

The Yamaska Valley Optimist Club is happy to continue our holiday tradition - The Christmas Angel 2020 project.

Being a Christmas Angel means bringing joy and cheer to those who might not be able to do it on their own. This year, 232 paper angels have been prepared and are now at participating retailers, ready to be claimed.

Here’s how it works:

Step 1: Visit one of our retailers and pick up a Paper Angel.

* These Paper Angels will indicate the gender, age and- in some cases- the size of the individual for whom you will be getting the gift.

* In most cases, a description of the individual’s interests is included, however the type of gift and the amount you spend are completely at your discretion. Whatever gift you choose, you can be sure it will be greatly appreciated.

Step 2: Buy a gift, according to the specifics given on your Paper angel and wrap it.

Step 3: Attach the paper angel to the gift using a single strip of tape (so it can be easily removed later on).

Step 4: Bring the wrapped and identified gift back where you signed up

BEFORE SUNDAY, DECEMBER 6, 2020 Step 5: The Yamaska Valley Optimist Club will deliver the gifts before Christmas.

A special thanks to our Angel outlets who have, even in such a challenging year, generously agreed to help us once again this year. Paper Angels can be picked at these retailers: to the retailer
