I am a proud 34 year old mother of 2 beautiful sons and have been with my better half for 14 years. He has been my wings to grow and live a happy life. All my life I have been helping others in need, in many different ways by giving them time, food, clothes, different items, finding them a home or giving them money. I have donated to many animal societies as well since I am an animal lover. Growing up was not very easy for me as I have Adhd, and back in the 90s it was not well recognized. It still didn’t stop me from learning and graduating high school. Ever since I was little I wanted to become someone who helps others who are struggling with addictions, as I was surrounded with a lot of loved ones suffering from alcoholism or substance abuse. I lost my best friend at just 16 years old due to addictions. I made it a goal for me to continue and never give up on people who are struggling and who truly need help. As the pandemic keeps going on and on, I realized that it was time for me to follow my dreams and to finally go to college and afterwards to university, to truly have the tools and the skills to approach others. I do understand them and I do not judge them for their decisions. It will not be easy, but I made it my goal to succeed and to achieve anything I put my heart and mind into.

With the energy and the positivity I have , I know I can make a difference in this world and I know I can change the lives of many others. My heart is too big to not open it and to reach out to this beautiful world out there with so many lost souls. I will bring sunshine to their darkness and help them conquer their fear and their pain. This bursary means the world to me. I am so thankful and honored that you have chosen me, I will never forget this and will keep paying it forward as I have been doing it all my life.
