Pet Safety, GPS and Coolers

-

Worried about my newest member of the family, I decided to order a Pet Temperature Monitor online. (I saw the cool ad at

www.suncruisermedia.com). Ordering was simple and, as a bonus I received a $30 discount at the checkout. The shipping to Canada was seamless and I received the unit in about a week. It was a little larger than my postal box so I did have to go pick it up.

Naturally, I couldn’t stand the wait and wanted to try this new electronic device out as soon as I got home. I don’t normally use instructions ( because I am a man) but this time I thought I would give it a try. It was actually quite simple to charge and set up the unit. In about 10 minutes it was ready to go - I barely even needed the instructions.

The next step was to download the App. I went to the App store and typed in “RV Pet Safety” and bingo, there I was adding it to my homescreen. From this point I was able to customize my screen with a photo of my fluffy friend, as well as change the settings to reflect degrees in Celsius (instead of Fahrenheit.) There are many other customizable features that I could revise to suit my needs.

So now was the fun part – testing out the alarm. I didn’t think it would be possible to drop the temperature to freezing in my rig so I turned off the AC for a little while and soon started to get a little sticky. The temperature climbed quickly and as soon as it hit 26 degrees, which is the limit I had set, the alarm starting squawking. It is a unique sound and it will definitely get your attention.

I was amazed by the thermostat accuracy on the small unit. When I leave my pet, my mind will be completely at ease because I know she will be safe. The Pet Safety Monitor is trustworthy and reliable and in my opinion, if you are traveling with pets, it makes complete sense to have one of these units on board.
