Rising Star Casino opened its new RV Park in August
Rising Star Casino Resort (a Full House Resorts, Inc. property) opened the Rising Star RV Park, uniquely located near the center of the Rising Star property, convenient to the resort’s casino, golf course and a short stroll from the quaint historical town of Rising Sun.
The RV Park includes: 56 spaces (each with full hookups including power), water and sewer, private bathrooms with showers, washers and dryers, a Bocce ball court, playground, dog park, picnic tables and grill area, fire pit, cable TV, WiFi, access to indoor pool, 18-hole golf course, casino, hotel, restaurants and entertainment facilities of the Rising Star Casino Resort and convenient access to a nearby grocery store.
Full House Resort’s President and CEO Dan Lee said, “We are adding the RV Park to Rising Star Casino Resort to bring new tourism to our property and the community. The RV travel market is large and growing, especially in our geographic region. Approximately one in ten households now own a recreational vehicle and the majority of these RVs were manufactured in Indiana. We believe the RV Park is a perfect complement to our existing casino, dining, sports and entertainment facilities.”
Rising Star already has two hotels on its property: the Rising Star Hotel and the Lodge at Rising Star. Some people, however, prefer to stay in thier own recreational vehicles, either as part of a long journey or as a convenient getaway close to home. Guests of the Rising Star RV Park will have acess to all the same amenities as guests of the Rising Star hotels.
Rising Star Casino Resort, in Rising Sun, Indiana, is 45 minutes from Cincinnati and less than a two hour drive from Indianapolis, Indiana, Louisville, Kentucky and Dayton, Ohio. It is just over a two hour drive from Columbus, Ohio.
Rising Sun is a historic riverboat town along the Ohio River surrounded by verdant green rolling hills laced with quiet country roads.
