Swift Current board and committee appointments approved

Swift Current City Council has approved the full list of individuals appointed to serve on city boards and committees for this year.

Members of Swift Current City Council will serve in the following capacities until the end of 2022.

Agricultural and Exhibition Association - Councillor Christiansen.

Swift Current and District Chamber of Commerce - Councillor Friesen.

Compliance Committee (Code of Ethics Bylaw No. 5 - 2017) Mayor Bridal, Councillor Plewis, Councillor Christiansen.

Comprehensive Community S.C. Inc. (Riverview Estates) Councillor Wall.

Drug Strategy Action Committee - Councillor Switzer.

Elmwood Golf Course - Councillor Plewis.

Living Sky Community Development Corporation Board - Mayor Bridal, Marty Salberg.

Murals Advisory Councillor Wall, Councillor Switzer.

Southwest Newcomer Welcome Centre - Councillor Tuntland-wiebe.

Public Library - Councillor Switzer.

Council also approved the list of individuals who will be serving one or two year terms on seven different community boards or committee. The list of appointed individuals is as follows:
