Cropsphere 2021 will be a virtual event

The difficult decision has been made to cancel the 2021 Cropsphere Conference due to the uncertainties regarding COVID-19.

The annual general meetings (AGMS) for the Cropsphere host organizations, along with other Saskatchewan crop organizations, will be held virtually from January 11 to 13. The event will also include presentations from market analysts on the market outlook for each crop, taking place on January 12.

8:30 a.m. - Greetings from David Marit, Saskatchewan’s Minister of Agriculture; 8:35 a.m. - Canary Seed AGM. Speaker: Chuck Penner of Leftfield Commodity Research; 9:45 a.m. - Sask Winter Cereals AGM. Speaker: Dr. Robert Graff, AAFC Lethbridge – New Winter Wheat Varieties; 11 a.m. - Saskmustard AGM; 12:30 p.m. - Saskforage AGM.

Monday, January 11 -

Speaker: David Mcgregor of Imperial Seed – Market Prospects for Forage Seed and Alfalfa Producers; 1:30 p.m. - Saskalfalfa AGM; 2:30 p.m. - Saskleafcutters AGM.
