To ensure the utmost safety for children and adults on the water, Bc-based Mustang Survival has updated select PFDS in its kid’s and adult lines to meet new harmonized floatation standards in Canada and the United States. Introduced at ICAST 2018, the revised PFDS include the Rev Vest and Lil’ Legends in its kid’s series and have many features such as new, ultra-soft, stain-resistant, durable fabrics and segmented foam panels for improved mobility and reduced ride-up. While the Rev Vest is ideal for all-around enjoyment and safety on or near the water, the Lil’ Legends provides optimum head support to also provide optimal safety. In fact, according to Jason Leggatt, Mustang Survival’s general manager, “The best PFD is the one you wear so we focused our contributions to the new standards on changes that would increase the likelihood of people wearing a PFD.
