Jeep Mash-up

-

This ’94 Cherokee Sport belongs to Rich Cline, who began the following list of modifications just in the last year. We know what you’re thinking: It’s not a truck. Not until Rich got to work on it, anyway. Rich thought way outside the box on this build, creating a Cherokee with a cab in a concept just begging for a feature.

The bones of the build lie in the Cherokee Sport modified using the rear 3 inches of a Jeep Comanche cab with about the last 6 inches of the tailgate section, but the modifications don’t stop there. The ’94 features a 4.0L six-cylinder engine, five-speed manual transmission and four-wheel drive, keeping true to Jeep standards of power and open application. The ’94 features a 3-inch Rough Country lift and sits on Mickey Thompson eighthole 16-inch wheels wrapped in 31-inch BF Goodrich all-terrain tires.

The taillights come from a 19972001-model Cherokee Sport, while the headlights are Truck-lite LEDS. The newly added bed has a Raptor spray-in bedliner to keep it looking cut and clean. Rich has also added new rear sliding glass, Mitsubishi SUV bucket seats, new carpet, sound deadener and a new headliner for a ride that’s clean, inside and out.

Though Rich considers many of his past rides to have been solid, cool cars, he claims this modified Jeep gets more attention than all of them combined and made for a great project.
