THIS ’01 FORD F-150 SVT LIGHTNING BELONGS TO CJ KREITZMAN OUT OF NEW YORK AND HAS ALREADY SEEN ITS SHARE OF IMPROVEMENTS. At the heart of the Lightning beats a 5.4L V-8 engine, complete with an Eaton supercharger to keep the V-8 breathing right. Accufab Racing single-blade throttle body, MAF intake, Magnaflow exhaust and Fluidyne heat exchanger fill out the list of this F-150’s performance enhancements. The suspension has been upgraded courtesy of Ground Force’s lowering kit and new Metco racing traction bars, matching the Lightning’s style with clean handling.

On the exterior, the Ford showcases a functional Ram Air hood scoop with a killer airbrushed paint job featuring true green flames on a triple black flake stripe, with black accent graphics along the side to complete the custom work. Upgraded headlights, 2003 and 2004 rims and Cervini tailgate wing further set the trend for the F-150’s style. On the interior, Corbeau racing seats and four-point harnesses keep the Ford’s passengers strapped in tight, while Prosport digital gauges light the dash and give CJ modern performance. The audio system for this Ford is nothing to scoff at either, with the Pioneer touch-screen head unit, two 10-inch subwoofers and two 6 ½-inch speakers housed in the doors.

When CJ isn’t at work saving money for more parts or out on the local track with his buddies, he’s proudly displaying his ’01 F-150 next to his father’s one-of-a-kind ’02 Ford F-150 SVT Lightning at local car shows. The duo proves that lightning can strike the same place twice.
