Street Trucks

Letter from the Editor

WELL, WE ARE OFFICIALLY IN THE FIRST QUARTER OF THE 2020 TRUCK SHOW SEASON AND THIS YEAR IS TURNING INTO ONE OF THE BEST ON RECORD FROM OVER THE LAST DECADE. New events are popping up every month, established events are growing in numbers, and attendance figures are reminiscent of the late ’90s truck scene. New custom truck debuts and under-construction builds can be seen at almost every show you attend, which just proves that parts manufacturers and truck builders are doing better than ever. It’s an exciting time for truck enthusiasts all around the country, but what about this whole coronavirus thing? Is it going to put a pause in the progress?

The amount of dedication and hard work that goes into hosting one of these national events is highly underappreciated. So, when we see annual events having to postpone or even cancel due to illness, we have to think about how many people it truly affects—from the event promoters to the employees, the local hotels and even restaurants, they all feel a big impact.

We feel horrible for the folks who are going through this, but we can assure you we are here to raise awareness for next year’s show. If you’ve had to reschedule a show, send us your new event dates with an updated flyer and let us take it from there.

Email your new event info to

chamilton@engaged.media and tell us how you were affected. We will let the readers know and they will show their support.

We promise!
