BREATH OF FRESH AIR

I enjoyed “Welcome to the Weekend” (July 2018, page 82) that featured Jennifer Garnett’s charming Prince Edward County, Ont., cottage. Her eclectic design aesthetic is a breath of fresh air in the current interior world dominated by whites and muted greys. I liked her choice of blending antiques with mid-century pieces, and how the butterscotch leather sofa set the tone in her living room. I loved it all: furniture, artwork, accessories; and the use of simple lines, wood and soft textures – the cottage embodies the county’s style to a T! NORA T., OTTAWA, ON

SMALL AND STYLISH

It was a pleasure to read the Private Sanctuaries Bed & Bath Special in the September 2018 issue (page 33). Every month I look forward to the magazine’s arrival. Your articles are always inspiring, but this month was the best! It was wonderful to see some small spaces being featured. I have a compact yet functional master ensuite that I’m planning to remodel.
