Capturing footage of life’s more exciting moments is made easier all the time by advances in action-camera technology – but what about watching the footage? A phone or even a tablet screen just doesn’t cut it at times. And it’s at precisely these moments when a portable projector is needed. Luckily for us, Xsories is here to help...

Its X-Project Wi-Fi Nomadic Cinema projector accepts footage beamed directly from your smartphone or tablet, and will then screen it onto a wall or sheet of hanging fabric.

An Android projector that runs for two and a half hours on a full charge (you could watch a whole movie), the X-Project Wi-Fi Nomadic Cinema enables you to stream your media direct from your smart device to its sleek on-board camera, without the need for cables. Its powerful LED lamps will then project a clear picture onto almost any surface, while its built-in speakers take care of the audio – the unit also has a 3.55mm port for handling bespoke audio output.

On top of its Wi-Fi functionality (which means you can stream, edit, upload media and connect to social-media platforms), the projector has a maximum projection size of 320cm with a 100-lumen output, so your media will loom large and bright wherever you choose to project it. The unit even comes with a flexible Bendy tripod, a U-Shot telescopic pole and a magnetic foot/suction-cup combo so you can stick it down on almost any surface.
