Picking the perfect projector screen

Don’t just beam it onto a wall – pair your projector with a great display…

Even if you live in a house where the lounge has a perfectly sized, and oriented, wall to project onto, it’s not going to deliver the absolute best home-cinema experience. A dedicated projector screen will reflect back more light, because of the material’s special coating, and therefore make images and colours brighter and much more vibrant.

That doesn’t mean you have to turn your living room into a dedicated home-cinema paradise. Screens that’ll fold away at the drop of a hat, or even the press of a button, are more affordable than ever. Yep, a motorised screen, that can roll up at the beck and call of a remote control, can be yours.

Now you just need to figure out where to stick the projector itself. To ceiling-mount or not, that’s the question…
