7 minute workout challenge

-

don ’t miss your daily hea lth ‘hit’!

Unlike many fitness fads, this simple but addictive app is based around actual scientific research on the benefits of highintensity training (HIT). At its heart is a seven-minute workout that became the basis of a New York Times article, and also appeared in leading research journal ACSM.

The workout is broken up into 12 exercises of 30 seconds, with ten-second intervals separating them. According to the research, HIT gives you the benefits of training for an hour, but in just over seven minutes. The exercises are well explained, simple to perform and don’t require any equipment. There’s a weight tracker so you can monitor your progress, an activity tracker and even support for Apple Watch.

Everyone can spare seven minutes in a day, so get to it, readers, and transform yourselves into high-intensity beings!
