It seemed like Ford’s retro-revival GT of 2005 was going to be a one- off hero model, but the Detroit giant shocked the world when it unveiled the 2017 GT. Looks-wise, it’s stunning, with incredible flying buttresses and a racer-style teardrop cockpit. But it’s also packed with tech – a twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 pumps out 647bhp, that sensual body is made from carbon-fibre, and its ten-inch digital dashboard reconfigures itself based on which drive mode you’ve selected. £TBC, www.ford.co.uk/GT
