SET UP A SWITCH
Each switch can be tailored to your individual needs, and you can add as many as you want! Here’s how
PAIR WITH BRIDGE
The first step to set up your POP is to download the companion app. Once this is installed, plug the POP bridge into the power socket; make sure this is somewhere central in your home so that you get good signal in all corners. The app will now pair with the bridge – make sure your phone is close to the bridge.
CONNECT TO WI-FI
Once you’ve paired your phone, the next step is to connect the bridge to your Wi-Fi network. Enter your Wi-Fi password and once it’s connected to your network you’ll need to create a new Logi ID . Do this, then sign in to your account. It might take a few minutes to complete, but once it’s done you can start adding switches.
ADD SWITCH
To add a switch, press the centre of the switch once. It’ll then connect to the bridge and appear in the app. Under the EDIT tab you can control what each switch does by pressing it, or flick to the CONTROL tab to activate the action of a switch by tapping its name – great if you want to control a switch remotely.
ADD FUNCTIONS
To add functionality to your switches, you first need to find devices that work with POP . To do this, tap the menu in the top left corner of the app, select MY DEVICE S and tap the + button at the bottom of the screen. Tap Scan For New Devices to find any compatible gadgets on your network. Tap FINI SH once it’s done scanning.
CHANGE BEHAVIOUR
To make a switch do your bidding, tap it under the EDIT tab. At the top you’ll see tabs for each type of button press: short, double and long. Tap each one to choose the kind of press you want to assign gadgets to. Then, just drag devices from the bottom row in the main area to assign them to that button press.
ADVANCED MODE
By default, devices will be set to turn on or off with the button press of your choosing, but to assign specific device behaviours to the presses, switch to Advanced Mode by toggling the switch above. You could, for instance, set a device to turn on when you do a single button press, and turn it off with a double press.
