What phone contract should I go for?

-

GaGu doesn’t know your usage, the network coverage in your area, or precisely what phone you want, so he’s not going to answer that question. Instead, consider this: if you get a contract which incorporates a loan for a new phone, you’re going to spend more than that phone’s worth.

Guru is a big personal supporter of O2 piggyback-network giffgaff and its goodybag bundles, which cough up a generous amount of data (and calls and texts, but who uses them these days?) for a reasonable pay-as-you-go monthly outlay. Buy a phone outright, chuck the contract away, and stop having your nose hairs pulled out by greedy crumple-shirted oiks loitering in city centre phone shops.
