Day at the park

-

If you’re going to spend a summer Saturday down the park, let’s make sure you’re properly supplied. Klarstein’s Big

Picnicker (£64.99, klarstein.co.uk) is a coolbox with a power supply, meaning it can be plugged into your car to keep your cheese and wine nicely chilled on the journey – unless you’ve cooked up something, in which case just switch from “Cold to “Hot” and it’ll keep it warm instead. When you’re leaving the car, stick on Klarstein’s Halford Picnic

Backpack (£64.99, klarstein.co.uk), which contains everything you’ll need for a four-person lunch in a tidy hands-free package.

Once the food’s done, it’s time tor entertainment. Parrot’s Jumping Race

Minidrone (£99, parrot.com/uk) is controlled from an app on your phone, and drives around at up to 8.7mph on its tough, wide wheels. Plus, if you want to terrify passers-by, it can jump up to 75cm. If there’s a bit more space available, Parrot’s Bebop 2 FPV (£479.99, parrot.com/uk) drone is controlled from a dedicated pad, with a range of up to 2km. It includes first-person view goggles, so you can see what the camera on the front sees in real time. Or, leave the controller, and tell the drone to follow you around automatically while it films. If you’re out with kids who want to go off and explore on their own, strap them with the WatchOvers Liberty GPS watch (£49.99, watchovers.com), which tracks their location, and makes it available on your phone in the app, so you can’t lose them.

As the day goes on, pick yourself up with a quality cup of coffee from the Wacaco Minipresso GR (£ 55, wacaco.com). Add ground beans into the basket, add hot water, then pump to add pressure, and pour. A Nespresso- compatible version is available for those who don’t keep their own ground coffee.
