IT’S HIGH, BUT IS IT SPACE?

There’s actually no real boundary where outer space begins, but it’s generally accepted that anything above the Kármán line – 100km up where aeronautic­al flight is impossible – is where ‘space’ begins. So technicall­y we only sent a copy of T3 up into the stratosphe­re, or ‘near space’. But we’re counting it anyway, because… look!
