IT’S HIGH, BUT IS IT SPACE?

There’s actually no real boundary where outer space begins, but it’s generally accepted that anything above the Kármán line – 100km up where aeronautical flight is impossible – is where ‘space’ begins. So technically we only sent a copy of T3 up into the stratosphere, or ‘near space’. But we’re counting it anyway, because… look!
