DIXON, Terrance Thomas Donald "Terry"

-

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and heartbreaking passing of Terrance "Terry" Thomas Donald Dixon on July 4, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. Terry was born on August 12, 1972 in Amherst to his mom, Jennie (Chapman) Maas and Terry Dixon Sr. He is survived by his children, Toni Dixon, William Dixon ( Jessica) and Brandon Dixon; Annmarie Dixon, his former wife with whom he continued to share special family times; grandchildren, Aashton, Adryann, Jordan, Jesse and Noah; his brother, Troy Dixon ( Vicky); foster sister, Corrina Norman; niece, Kristian Goodine (Daniel); nephews, Tyler, and Logan; and great-nephew, Tucker; among many many extended family. Terry was a loving and generous man with a huge heart, he was a great father to Toni, Will and Brandon. He was not only their dad but best friend. He loved his brother and mom more than anything. He had a generous spirt and would give you the shirt off his back and if you needed more he would go get another. He loved his dog Taz. He was an avid golfer and spent many hours on the golf course with Will and Brandon and his close friends. He was a true Montreal Canadiens fan and was proud of it. He loved to play darts and spent countless hours playing (or hitting the plywood) at his happy place on the deck of his trailer always surrounded by his friends. "Just one more game..." He was always there for his big brother teaching him how to fix stuff and get his hands dirty, or doing the work for him so Troy didn’t get dirty. He adored his children and their spouses and treated them as his own as well as their friends. He adored his grandbabies and was a proud Papa. Terry was fearless, spontaneous, loved and lived life on his terms. He enjoyed travelling and got to visit some amazing places. He will be missed by his long- time special companion, Jessica Allen and her son Killian; as well as Julya Lynass and many, many many friends and close buddies. A visitation will take place Saturday, July 11th from 2-7 p.m. and amemorial service will take place Sunday, July 12th at 2 p.m., all in J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr., Halifax.
