MARSMAN, Muriel "Eileen"

April 18, 1958 - July 2, 2020. It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother, sister, aunt and friend. Muriel, "Eileen" as she was known by was a beautiful soul who lightened the life of whomever she came in contact with. She will be remembered for her great sense of humour, singing, dancing and her smile. She was a great friend to have and once you had that friendship you had a confidante for life, as some of her lifelong friends have said, she was very loyal. Eileen got a kick out of having a nickname for everyone she knew. She was hilarious with her descriptio­ns. Eileen attended the University of Toronto where she pursued a degree in Sociology, she loved education and she was highly intelligen­t. She loved the show Jeopardy and calling out the answers before the contestant­s. Eileen is survived by her children, Tanysha, Christiaan (Belinda), Evan (Brittany); sister, Sandra ( Michael); and Judy, who was more like a sister than a niece; brother; Wayne; grandchild­ren, Akia, Julian, Crystal, Corde, Deonte, Evan Jr., Elyah, Evayah; two great-grandchild­ren, Akia Jr. and Rowan; godchildre­n, Ensley Borden and Lavelle Downey; several nieces and nephews. She was predecease­d by her mother, Jacqueline (Wilson) Cromwell; father, George Marsman; sisters, Edith, Marion, Marva; brothers, Elmer and Robert. Eileen will be laid to rest in the community where she grew up in, Upper Hammonds Plains Cemetery located at Anderson Rd. On Friday July 10th, at 1 p.m., Pastor Lennet J. Anderson Officiatin­g.
