The love between amother and her daughters is forever!

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Sally Ann (Harvie) Smith, loving wife and mother of three children, announces her passing on Friday, November 27, 2020, peacefully, at the age of 84.

Born in Kentville, she was a daughter of the late William and Myrtle (Carey) Harvie.

Sally worked at the Kentville Sanatorium before meeting her husband, Fred, becoming amilitary family with whom she had the best memories of traveling abroad with her kids beside her. She always looked forward to returning home to the Annapolis Valley and her family. She enjoyed an evening of bingo and her love of travel continued withmany trips to Florida, Cuba and several cruises. Her favourite trip being the yearly shopping trip to Bangor with the girls. She was the first one in the car and the last one to leave the store. In later years she enjoyed the music and friendship at many of the community jams.

Sally is survived by her daughters, Cindy (Leon) Hemeon, Kentville; Sandra (Wayne) Hamilton, Kentville and Kathy (Brian) Rafuse, Centrevill­e; special niece, Sherry Creemer, Kentville; her much-loved grandchild­ren, Jennifer Hemeon, Mellisa (Chris) Pulsifer, Michael Hemeon and Katie Hamilton; greatgrand­children, Kailey Pulsifer and Nia Hemeon. She is also survived by sisters, Margaret Bishop and Faye Meister; brothers, William, Joe and Fred Harvie; several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Fred; brothers, Frank and Alison.

There will be no visitation or funeral service, by request. A private family graveside service will take place in Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill, at a later date.
