Age 74, of Heatherton, passed away on December 4, 2020, in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Hamilton, Ont., she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Myrtle (Garside) Hann. Charlotte ran one of the food trolleys in Nicholson Hall in STFX from 1977 to 2001. She epitomized "cold hands, warm heart", as she made 50 pairs of fleece-lined wool mittens for chemothera­py patients at St. Martha’s oncology department. She is survived by her husband, Arthur Brosha; sons, Sean (EJ) Spencer, Newmarket, Ont.; Raymond Spencer, Tokyo, Japan; and Robby (Nicole) Spencer, St. Albert, Alta.; grandchild­ren, Jordan, Brennan, Jacob, Tomo, Jasmine, and Jocelynn; stepchildr­en, Rayleen Brosha (Doug Twyford), Edmonton, Alta., and child Shalom; and Corey ( Maureen) Brosha, Windsor, Ont., and child Lola; and sister, Madelyn Arnott, London, Ont. Predecease­d by son, Michael Spencer; and brother, Raymond Stewart. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College St., Antigonish. Social distancing protocols must be followed, and masks are mandatory. A private family funeral will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. and it will be streamed live on the funeral home’s website. Family flowers only, please. In lieu of flowers, you are encouraged to plant a tree or make a donation to Cathy’s Place.
