CLAYTON, Brett Frederick

-

It is with broken hearts and deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Brett Frederick Clayton, on December 3, 2020, at home. He was born in Digby, on a cold, blustery day and instantly warmed the hearts of his family. Brett will be remembered for his gentleness, kind heart and his big smile that lit up any room he entered. Brett enjoyed playing his guitar, listening to music and playing board games with family. He especially loved bass fishing with his dad, and took great pleasure in always catching the biggest one. His love for his family was deep and the time he spent with his children was truly cherished. Brett tried his hand at scallop and lobster fishing, but he truly loved trucking. He was very proud of his Commercial Driving License that he obtained from the Commercial Safety College in Truro. Brett is survived by his loving parents, Shane and Lori; younger sister, Dominique (Randy); his adoring children, Owen, Keleah, Brielle and Ainslie; grandmothers, Sheila Clayton, Marilyn Naismith; special niece, Gabby; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his greatgrandparents, Maisie and Melbourne Hudson, Herbert and Mary Clayton, Eva and Carey Doucette; and his special grandfather, Sherman Clayton, whom he loved and missed dearly. His service will be officiated by Pastor Bob Elliot and held in Kaulbach Family Funeral Home in Annapolis Royal, on December 8th at 1 p.m., on what would have been his 28th birthday. He will be laid to rest in Hillsburn Cemetery. Donations can be made to Searidge Foundation. God rest your beautiful soul Brett, you will be forever loved and missed by so many.
