Danny is survived by his wife of 32 years, Anita (Beaton); his loving daughters, Erica (Trevor) Bourgeois and Kimberly, both of Yellowknife, N.W.T.; his stepdaughter, Tanya Smith (Nick), Calgary, Alta.; his granddaughter and best buddy, Blake Bourgeois who he was so proud of and always had a Blake story for anyone who would listen. Danny is survived by his sisters, Roberta (Finlay) Sutherland, Kanata, Ont.; Eileen (Bill Matson) Mackay, Lisle, Ont.; and Kate (Ed) Storm, Bedford; his brothers, Frank and John (Maureen), both of Judique; and his niece and nephews, Colin, Devon, Kyle, Mikylah and Keenan; and his extended Beaton family. Danny enjoyed the outdoors especially hunting and snowmobiling and of course the NASCAR races every Sunday. The family would like to thank the dedicated Oncology and Palliative Care Teams of Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital for their compassionate care for the last four years.
