She enjoyed many lifelong friendships including her cousin and best friend, Marg Hennigar. After Jack Flinn captured her heart, she and Jack spent their early married life in Halifax raising their children but she kept close contact with her roots on Brennan’s Road. She had travelling adventures and daily conversations with daughters Sue and Connie who provided tireless support to enable her to stay in her home as long as she did. She continued those travel adventures with Bruce. Her home was the family hub, always welcoming, where Edna fed us all with a skill that looked effortless and tasted so wonderful.
