LAMBERT, Frank

-

Age 61, Greenfield. It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Frank Lambert in Colchester East Hants Health Centre on Friday, December 4, 2020. Frank will be deeply missed by the love of his life, Martin MacKay; sister-in-law, Yvette Silver; brother-in-law, Allan Mackay; nephews, Mathew Lambert and Thomas Silver; niece, Savannah Long. He will also be missed by a number of dear friends who felt fortunate to have been a part of his life: Karla, Bernadine, Pamela, Danica, Allison, Paul, Manon, Ian and Bill. Frank was predeceased by his loving mother, Gisele Marie Citmenté "Gigi" Cyrenne; sister, Nicole Lambert; brother, Daniel Lambert. As an educator in Chignecto Central, Frank had numerous career highlights, including his time as Principal of Oxford Regional High School, Coordinator of Human Resources and Consultant of Safety and School Climate. Most noteworthy, however, Mr. Lambert will be remembered warmly by hundreds of former students who had the privilege of being in his class or one of the many brilliant musicals he so passionately produced for the emerging young talents of Cobequid Educational Centre. Frank was in his element when he worked on the musicals and considered the productions a collaboration with Martin, who was always a dedicated and willing technical support for Frank and the casts. In line with Frank’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Instead, if a farewell wish is desired, "meet with a friend, and raise a glass to Gus the Theatre Cat and I will be there. Scene!" Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall - Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young St., Truro. Private messages of condolence may be sent to the family by viewing Frank’s obituary online and selecting "Send A Condolence" at: www.mattatallvarnerfh.com
