-

Age 81 of Cole Harbour, passed away on December 10, 2020 in Ivany Place, Bedford. Born in St. Jacques, N.L., shewas a daughter of the late Arthur and Edna (Taylor) Fiander. Doris, such a kind hearted soul would enjoy anything and everything about Newfoundland. One of her favorite things to do was go to the Newfoundland Club and enjoy listening and dancing to the music and socializing with friends. She would always welcome you with a hug and for anyone that spent anytime at her home or visiting you could never leave without a plate of brownies. She had a love for animals, she especially missed her cat Princess. Over the years she worked at Moirs Chocolate Factory and several years at Canadian Tire, but mostly she was a homemaker taking care of her children and many others throughout the years, she was a mom and Nana/grammy to many. She was particularly fond of always making sure her hair was done, and it was something she looked forward to weekly. She will be missed by many and her memory will remain strong in our hearts." I love you, and you love me too". Doris is survived by her daughters, Lavern (Barry) Johnston, Natalie Bullen, Tammy (Kerry) Fletcher; sons, Darren (Lena), Ryan (Tara); grandchildren, Neil and Jason, Emma and Megan, Taylor, Braden, Jamie, Joe, and Logan; great-grandchildren, Isaac, Emmerson, Mya, Charlotte, Ayden, and Holland. She is also survived by her sister, Margaret Reynolds; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Isaac; sisters, Mary, Ethel, Jean, Kathleen.
