Chiefs hold off Dolphins, improve to 12-1

Patrick Mahomes didn’t have his best game, but it was more than enough to lead the Kansas City Chiefs past the Miami Dolphins on Sunday afternoon.

Mahomes was intercepte­d three times and took a 30yard sack but tossed two touchdowns in a 33-27 win over the Dolphins.

The Chiefs, who improved to 12-1, trailed the game 10-0 before answering with the 30 straight points. Miami made the game interestin­g with 17 points in the fourth quarter.

Mahomes finished with 24 completion­s and 393 yards while Tyreek Hill had a rushing and receiving TD. Travis Kelce caught eight passes for 136 yards and a touchdown for the winners.

Dolphins quarterbac­k Tua Tagovailoa threw two touchdown passes to Mike Gesicki. Tagovailoa connected on 28 passes for 316 yards.

COWBOYS 30, BENGALS 7

Andy Dalton tossed a pair of touchdown passes in the Dallas victory.

TITANS 31, JAGUARS 10

Running back Derrick Henry rushed for 215 yards and two touchdowns on 26 carries for Tennessee. Quarterbac­k Ryan Tannehill was 19 of 24 for 212 yards and two majors and A.J. Brown added a TD catch and 112 yards.

CARDINALS 26, GIANTS 7

Kyler Murray passed for 244 yards and a touchdown for Arizona while Kenyan Drake rushed for 80 yards and a score. Deandre Hopkins hauled in nine passes for 136 yards for the winners.

BEARS 36, TEXANS 7

Mitchell Trubisky had a big day with three touchdown passes and 267 yards in the air for Chicago. David Montgonmer­y rushed for 113 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries for the Bears.

BRONCOS 32, PANTHERS 27

Drew Lock tossed four TD passes as Denver held off a wild fourth-quarter rally by

Carolina. KJ Hamler caught a pair of TD passes and had 86 yards on the game.

Mike Davis had a pair of majors for the Panthers, who scored 17 points in the final frame.

Teddy Bridgewate­r completed 30 of 40 passes for 283 yards for the Panthers while Robby Anderson rushed for 84 on eight carries.

BUCCANEERS 26, VIKINGS 14

Tom Brady threw touchdown passes to Scott Miller and Rob Gronkowski in Tampa Bay’s victory.

Brady passed for 196 yards on 15 completion­s. Ronald Jones II scored the other Bucs’ TD on a one-yard run.
