It is with deep sorrow that the family of Jeffrey Allen Donovan announces his passing on December 14, 2020, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He died at the age of 42 surrounded by his loved ones. Born in Saint John, N.B., he was the son of John and Joan (Whalen) Donovan; and the brother of Gregory (Ashley) Donovan, Christine (Michael) Donovan, and Katherine (Brian) Donovan. In addition to his immediate family, Jeff leaves behind his beloved nieces and nephew, Zoey, Olivia and Oliver, and his many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Jeff enjoyed Fridays at the mall and Sunday lunches with his family, visiting Christine in Hong Kong, and travelling to see Pearl Jam throughout North America. He also enjoyed hiking the RNS/ Spyglass trails, the thrill of roller coasters, and engaging with the WOW community. Jeff was predecease­d by his maternal and paternal grandparen­ts, Henry and Elsie Whalen, and George and Hughena Donovan. At Jeff’s request, there will be no service. Instead, he has asked that friends and loved ones visit a theme park when they are able. Whenever you ride a rollercoas­ter, he will be there.
