Age 66, Merland, Antigonish Co., passed away on December 10, 2020, in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Toronto, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Beatrice ( Leadbetter) Munro. Debbie was a kind and caring soul who enjoyed playing cards, bingo, and many a cup of tea. A humble person of incredible strength, she had a great sense of humour and always had a smile on her face. She is survived by her twin daughters, Tracy (John Haines), Port Hawkesbury; and Tanya (Glenn Henson), Antigonish; son, Charles, Guysboroug­h; grandchild­ren, Dustin, Candace, Cailin, and Adam; brothers, Fred (Jeannine), Alberta; and Terry (Aurora), British Columbia; half-brother, Perry Munro, Annapolis Valley; brothers-in-law, Earl and Billy Wallace, Antigonish; sisters-in-law, Allie Ronaghan, Ontario; Darlene Chisholm, Antigonish; andmargie Flemming, Truro; special nephew, Frankie Wallace, and many more nieces, nephews, and cousins. Predecease­d by her husband, Ron; brothers, Stevie and Gary; a twin sister in infancy; and many brothers-and-sistersin-law. Visitation will be held today, Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p. m. in C. L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College St., Antigonish. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in St. Peter’s Church, Tracadie, Father John Barry presiding.
