Man charged as accessory in Yarmouth County killing

-

RCMP have charged a third man in connection with the death of a 26-year-old Yarmouth County man in September.

Police said Thursday that Keith Arthur Siscoe, 35, of Yarmouth County was arrested Wednesday in Lunenburg County. He is facing a charge of being an accessory after the fact to the homicide of Colton James Cook.

Cook was reported missing on Sept. 27, the same day partial remains were located near a burned vehicle.

Cook's identifiable remains were found Sept. 29 near the intersection of Saunders and Raynardton roads in South Ohio.

Siscoe was held in custody after his arrest and was scheduled to appear in Shelburne provincial court Thursday.

Sgt. Andrew Joyce said the charge is not directly related to the public appeal earlier this week for help identifying two vehicles that were seen in the South Ohio area.

Police say they believe the drivers of the two vehicles may be able to help them with their investigation into

Cook's death.

The first vehicle is a dark grey single cab Ford Ranger. The second vehicle is an older model small silver sedan with a black rear bumper.

Robert Charles Rogers, 57, and Wayne Richard Crawford, 36, both of Yarmouth County, were arrested Oct. 1 in Digby County and charged with second-murder and interfering with human remains. They are still in custody.

Anyone with information on the the case or the vehicles is asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
