RCMP seeks help in finding robbery suspect

The RCMP are seeking public help in solving an armed robbery in Lower Sackville.

The criminal investigat­ion division is looking into a robbery that occurred New Year’s Eve at a convenienc­e store in the 800 block of Sackville Drive.

The RCMP said in a release that they responded to a 5 p.m. call that a suspect had entered the store, produced a knife and demanded cash from the employee. The suspect, described as a white male wearing a black jacket with yellow reflective stripes, fled the store on foot with an undisclose­d amount of cash.

No one was injured as a result of the incident.
