June 26, 1966 - December 15, 2020. Douglas "Doug" Malcolm Kelly, beloved brother and uncle, passed away peacefully at home in Vancouver, on December 15th. Born in Windsor, on June 26, 1966 and raised in Dartmouth. He is survived by his loving brothers, Garnet Lorencovit­ch, Beaver Bank; Leslie ( Sherry), Moncton, N. B.; and Wade, Calgary, Alta.; and sister, Mona (Bob Mcconnell), Mount Uniacke. He was a beloved uncle to nephews, Conrad Kelly, Bobby Mcconnell, Justin Mcconnell; and great-niece, Peyton. He was predecease­d by sister, Sharon; and mother, Betty Kelly. Doug was a loving brother and devoted uncle and happiest when surrounded by family and friends and loved hosting barbecues. He was a multi-talented hard worker and was a roofer, carpenter and landscaper in his later years. Kind and thoughtful, Doug had a great sense of humour and was always quick to lend a hand. He loved fishing and enjoyed nature and was an avid reader. Doug loved animals and they loved him. We were so blessed to have him in our lives, and we will miss him dearly and forever hold him in our hearts! A Celebratio­n of Life was held in Vancouver on December 24, 2020. There will be a graveside committal service in Surrey Centre Cemetery, located at 16671 Oldmclella­n Rd., Surrey, B.C., on Thursday, January 14th at 9 a.m. Live stream of service Thursday, January 14th at 1 p.m. http://www.livememori­alservices.com/home/servicedet­ail/9522.
