BOUTILIER (Stavasius), Anne Marie

-

Age 76 of Bedford, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on January 21, 2021 in the VG Site, QEII. Born in Halifax, Anne was a daughter of Mary Fitzgerald and stepfather James Fitzgerald. Anne is survived by her husband of 55 years, Robert "Bob" Boutilier; son, Scott (Ann); daughters, June (Elise), Dawn (Chris) Davison and grandchildren, Michaela, Brennen, and Ian along with several in-laws, nieces, and nephews. Her parents and sister, Louise Olsen and brother-in-law, Bryan Olsen predeceased her. Anne was first and foremost an extremely dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She treasured her family and embraced their individuality, cherishing every moment spent with them. She instilled the importance of hard work and strong family values. Anne especially loved her role as Nana and fiercely loved her grandchildren. She loved unconditionally, respected, and revered her children and grandchildren in the same manner that they admired and loved her. Anne retired in 2004 from Canada Post after 25 years of dedicated service. She thoroughly enjoyed her retirement, relaxing with her morning coffee, reading voraciously, and in particular sitting on the back deck, soaking in the beauty of her garden. Anne was most happy with everyone gathered around the family table, while thoroughly enjoying her delicious meals and mouthwatering pies. Anne will be cremated, and a small family service will be held at a later date. A larger gathering will be scheduled in the spring to accompany her burial. In lieu of flowers we request that donations be given to All Saints Anglican Church, Bedford or to your local SPCA. Online condolences: www.coleharbourfuneral.com
