BEZANSON, Jean Emeline
Age 91, of Windsor, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021, in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born on June 16, 1929, in New Ross, Lunenburg Co., she was a daughter of the late William and Janet (Hatt) Levy. Jean was the last surviving member of her family. Jean was a member of Windsor Baptist Church. Jean is survived by daughters, Pauline (Merrill) O’neil, Windsor; Betty (Terry) Sjuberg in Alberta; Debbie (John) Poole, Mount Uniacke; sons, Brian Moore, Windsor; Willard Moore, Windsor; Gary (Shelley) Moore, Mount Uniacke; Ricky (Carolanne) Moore, Windsor; stepson, Gary Bezanson in Ontario; special niece, Rhoda Veinot; 30 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, and several great great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Elias Bezanson; daughter-in-law, Paulette Moore; granddaughters, Ashley Moore and Charlene Lantz; sisters, Effie Keddy and Dorothy Bates; brothers, Elwood, Lawson, Harold, Ernest, Robie, Atwood, and Gordon Levy. The family wishes to express a special thank you to all the staff at Haliburton Place and to Dr. Cathryn Smith for all the care they provided to Jean over the last year. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Lindsay Windsor Funeral Home, P.O. Box 2218, 194 King St., Windsor, NS B0N 2T0. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 27th, in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Rob Heffernan and Rev. Dr. John Bartol officiating.
