It is with great sadness that the family of Phyllis Marie Thompson announces her passing after a brief battle with cancer on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at the age of 64 years. Phyllis will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 44 years, David; and her children, Amber (Andrew) and Nicole ( Ryutaro). Phyllis will also be fondly remember by her beautiful grandchild­ren, Emily, Ashley, Colton; by her sisters, Rodena (Macneil) Burke, Darlene (Macneil) Boyd, Audrey (Macneil), Anderson; and brothers, Malcom Macneil and Adrienne Macneil. Phyllis had a passion for gardening and growing beautiful flowers. She loved watching the beautiful hummingbir­ds that were always surroundin­g her. She was an amazing cook and baker which her family enjoyed very much. She was everyone’s mom! Phyllis was known for her quick wit and her infectious smile and her kind and compassion­ate spirit. Phyllis will always and forever be remembered by her numerous nephews and niece and extended family and dear friends. The Thompson family wants to give a special thanks to Shannon Purcell (Palliative Care nurse) and the Palliative team who supported and watched over mom throughout the months and weeks leading up to her last day. The ceremony will be held in Dartmouth. It will be a closed private ceremony due to COVID-19 restrictio­ns. Thank you for understand­ing. Online condolence­s:
