Age 88, of Ingomar. Our precious father went to be with the Lord and his many loved ones on January 23, 2021, with his eldest grandson, Jevon Doane at his side in Roseway Hospital, Shelburne. Born February 7, 1932, he was a son of the late Merton and Alveda (Perry) Goulden (of Ingomar), where Carl lived most of his life. He leaves behind his children: sons, Wade (Moira), Todd (Brenda); daughters, Carla Doane (Terry), Holli; also 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren who he loved to have come visit him. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by the love of his life, Shirley ( Nickerson); infant daughter, Heather; brothers, Barney and Earle (twin); halfbrother, Clyde; and half-sister, Kathleen Perry. Carl was one of the founding members of Faith Wesleyan Church in Ingomar. He was a fisherman/lobsterman all of his life. He also had another love in his life, his cat, Snickers. The family would like to take this time to thank the wonderful staff and nurses at Roseway Hospital, also the kind nurses of the VON, especially Mary Dawn Greenwood.
