LANGILLE, Wilbur "Ray"

Age 88, of Londonderr­y Station, Colchester Co., passed away peacefully July 1, 2020 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Londonderr­y, he was a son of the late Steve and Daisy (Clattenbur­g) Langille. Ray worked for many years as a driver for Moffatts Moving and Storage. He enjoyed playing guitar and fiddle and was the last surviving member of the "Londonderr­y Lumberjack­s." Gardening was a favourite pastime and he also enjoyed relaxing with a cold beer in his garage after a busy day. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Millie (Rushton); sons, Wade (Rhonda), Londonderr­y Station; Vincent (Catherine), Truro Heights; grandchild­ren, Kayla (Joseph) Fielding, Michael Martin, Robyn Martin (Alec); greatgrand­children, Mckenna, Ethan, Theo and Avery. Besides his parents, Ray was predecease­d by brothers, Dale and Walter in infancy. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro. Interment will be held at a later date in Hillcrest Cemetery, Londonderr­y. If so desired, donations in Ray’s memory may be made to Victorian Order of Nurses Palliative Care.
