LANGILLE, Wilbur "Ray"
Age 88, of Londonderry Station, Colchester Co., passed away peacefully July 1, 2020 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Londonderry, he was a son of the late Steve and Daisy (Clattenburg) Langille. Ray worked for many years as a driver for Moffatts Moving and Storage. He enjoyed playing guitar and fiddle and was the last surviving member of the "Londonderry Lumberjacks." Gardening was a favourite pastime and he also enjoyed relaxing with a cold beer in his garage after a busy day. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Millie (Rushton); sons, Wade (Rhonda), Londonderry Station; Vincent (Catherine), Truro Heights; grandchildren, Kayla (Joseph) Fielding, Michael Martin, Robyn Martin (Alec); greatgrandchildren, Mckenna, Ethan, Theo and Avery. Besides his parents, Ray was predeceased by brothers, Dale and Walter in infancy. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro. Interment will be held at a later date in Hillcrest Cemetery, Londonderry. If so desired, donations in Ray’s memory may be made to Victorian Order of Nurses Palliative Care.
