The 2021 Ford Bronco was scheduled to be unveiled to the public on July 9, but Ford has announced that it would delay the reveal to a more auspicious date.
Now, we’re not saying that it’s because Ford realized that July 9 is O.J. Simpson’s birthday, but July 9 is O.J.
Simpson’s birthday and O.J. infamously led police on a chase on a California highway in his white 1990s Bronco following the deaths of his exwife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ron Goldman.
According to a Tweet by Ford, the Bronco will now be unveiled on July 13, Harrison Ford’s birthday
However, the internet never sleeps and while Ford PR was fixing its gaffe, someone was out in the desert playing with Broncos, where the 2021 Bronco was spied completely undisguised in the desert ahead of its reveal.
The photos posted on the Bronco6g forum are screenshots from a drone video and show both the full-sized Bronco and Bronco Sport from above.
This is the first time that we’re seeing a two-door Bronco completely undisguised, and it gives us our best look yet at the upcoming truck.
We can see that it has retained its retro styling, and also features some pretty serious rubber.
A Ford employee chimed in on the forum, saying Ford “must be filming something for the reveal. Non-camouflaged vehicles would never be used for development testing before the reveal. Someone must have snuck a drone over the filming site. Those Broncos are definitely the real deal.”
