There are no words to express how grateful we are for all the love and kindness you all gave to Mom during her time as a resident there, you all truly made it her home and especially so during this pandemic. Mom was a homemaker, an avid knitter, and loved doing word search puzzle books. Mom will be remembered most for the wool socks and fishermen’s mittens that she made for many years. A special thanks to Greta Roberts, Jackie Brymer, Mary Greencorn, Nancy Macdonald and Amanda Rossong, your compassion, love and kindness will never be forgotten. To the nurses of Eastern Memorial Hospital and Dr. Millburn, your kindness and compassion got us through a difficult time, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the wonderful care and respect shown to Mom. In keeping with Mom’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions there will be no service, it will be held at a later date when all the family can travel safely.
