CROWELL (Cooper), Lillian Rose

Age 81, passed away in hospital with her daughters by her side. She was the daughter of Harry and Lilis Cooper, born March 7, 1939 in Popes Harbour. There was nothing she loved more than spending time with her family. Lillian’s many passions included, playing cards with friends Irene, Hazel and Louisette. She loved playing bingo, baking, dancing, and most of all singing, and yodelling - Gaining the best Yodeller title at her residence Sagewood Nursing Home, Lower Sackville. We would like to extend a special thank you to all of the staff who took part in her care. She was predeceased by late husband, Alan Crowell; grandson, Steve Saunders; and many brothers and sisters. She is survived by sisters, Annie Boutilier, Mushaboom; Pearl Baker, Jeddore; sister- in- law, Helen Cooper, Murphy’s Cove; children, Barry ( Janet) Gerrard, Rose (Danny) Laybolt, Leonard (Cindy) Gerrard, Peter (Carmen) Gerrard, Trisha (Bernie) Coughlan, Shirley (Ronnie) Burt, Marty (Judy) Gerrard, Janet (Jeff) Beals. Lillian adored her 19 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, seven great great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
