Age 87, of Annapolis Royal passed away in Annapolis Royal Nursing Home on Saturday, December 5, 2020, with her husband and daughter by her side. Born in Middlefiel­d, Queens Co., on April 7, 1933, Audrey was the daughter of the late Chester and Helen Webber. Audrey was an elementary school teacher for 27 years, teaching in Cornwallis, Annapolis Royal and Dartmouth. Her love for teaching was obvious - she loved the children and they loved her. In retirement she enjoyed travelling with her husband, Jim, visiting areas in Canada, the United States and guided tours in Europe. As well, she enjoyed several winters with her snowbird friends in Florida. Her hobbies in retirement included daily walks, square dancing and golfing with her family. Audrey was a member of First United Baptist Church of Annapolis Royal. Audrey is survived by her husband, James; son, Kevin (Robin), Morinville, Alta.; daughter, Katherine Lowe (David), Upper Clements; grandchild­ren, Daniel Lowe, Fredericto­n, N.B.; Krysta Dupuis (Darren), Angela Fyk (Mike) and Michelle Pettitt (Brad), Edmonton, Alta.; greatgrand­children, Jasper and Landon Fyk. Audrey’s greatest love was her family. Besides her parents, Audrey was predecease­d by her brother, Terrance Webber (of Sydney River, Cape Breton). Due to COVID-19, no service will be held at this time. The family wishes to thank the Palliative Care Unit of Annapolis Royal Nursing Home for their care and compassion, and also Dr. Buchholz.
