MUISE, Marcelle Armande

Age 74, Quinan, formerly of Ontario, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 3, 2020 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital, with family by her side. Born in Quebec on November 2, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Ivonne (Leclerc) St. Pierre. Marcelle had many jobs during her life, she was a weather reporter in Chapleau, Ont., before moving to Nova Scotia. She had a short but exciting career working in the movie business in Nova Scotia and in New Brunswick starting with The Scarlet Letter in Shelburne. Marcelle (Marci) loved animals especially horses and cats. She was a very active member of the Bits and Boots Saddle Club in Yarmouth. She was an experience­d horse woman and competed for a number of years in equestrian events across Nova Scotia with her favorite horse Moose. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Muise, of 48 years, along with their daughter, Rachelle ( Shaun Burke) Muise. She is survived by her sisters, Micheline ( Don) Marsh, Michelle (Jim) Copeland; and brothers, Ivon ( Bin) St. Pierre and Jean Pierre St. Pierre. Besides her parents, Marcelle was predecease­d by her sisters, Francoise Cossette and Louisette Zschogner. Funeral arrangemen­ts have been entrusted to H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, 29 Albert St., Yarmouth. By the request of the family there will be a celebratio­n of life at a later date. Donations in memory of Marcelle may be made to the Victorian Order of Nurses or Yarmouth Associatio­n for Community Residentia­l Options (YACRO).
