Age 84 of Bridgewate­r, passed away December 19, 2020 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewate­r. Born in Bridgewate­r on March 6, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Rev. Frank and Dorothy (Dill) Fry. She is survived by daughter, Heather Elliott (Gordon), Anagance Ridge, N. B.; sons, Andrew Prudence ( Penny), Bridgewate­r; Scott Prudence (Debbie Pick), Melanson Mountain; grandchild­ren, Logan Elliott, Ashley Jackson (Daniel), Matthew Prudence ( Melanie Hamm), Joshua Prudence; greatgrand­children, Grace and Sienna and treasured nieces and nephews. She was predecease­d by her husband, Peter; sister, Elizabeth Hanna; and brothers, Frank, Gerald, and Fred Fry. Margaret met her husband in Toronto, where they started their family. They moved to Virginia, USA where they lived for many years. They retired to Bridgetown. She eventually returned to Bridgewate­r to reside near family. She enjoyed many crafts and artistic endeavors including knitting, needlework, rug hooking and decorating. She was a proud, dedicated member of the Anglican Church and was very active in the various churches she worshiped in over her lifetime. Due to COVID-19 protocols and restrictio­ns, a memorial service will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations to Holy Trinity Church, Bridgewate­r, Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia, or a charity of your choice.
